The Faceless

There is a curious tale that is told about the spirit known as the Faceless. One day, three men looking to test their courage snuck into what was rumored to be a haunted manor. Barring the rear door which they decided was the entrance most likely to be used by visiting ghouls, the three men excitedly set up camp before it and waited. Sometime deep in the night, they began to hear strange noises coming from behind the barred door. So, through a gap in the frame, the men peeked out... And what should they see but a figure in a white robe with a pale smooth face lacking eyes, nose, and mouth! Needless to say, the men were terrified and they ran off, as fast as their legs could carry them. The next day, upon returning to the manor, they found the interior undisturbed, and the rear door firmly barred just as they had left it...
