Night Parades

When hordes of ghosts and ghouls get together and make their way through the streets at night, they are said to be holding a "Night Parade." Normally, any soul unfortunate enough to stumble upon this eerie procession would expect to meet their doom. However, there was once a man who encountered such a gathering but lived to tell the tale, all because he had sewn into his robes a mantra written by an eminent monk. Rumor of this fantastic tale soon spread far and wide, and people began to wear the very same mantra on their person, urging each other never to leave home at night without it.
