A dancer seeking the power to fight
Izumo no Okuni is a kabuki dancer seeking the strength to fight the Genma. She asks Ono no Takamura for help and remains part of Musashi's group at Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
In Okuni's Kabuki Dance, she asks Musashi to escort her to a performance site on the Kamo River sandbar. Genma and pernicious plants now occupy it. Before The Demon on the Mount, she stays with women whose village was attacked while Musashi returns to the temple.
Okuni also repairs, enhances, and changes Musashi's Hozuki Pouch. The equipped pouch determines how his Hozuki heals him, making her services important throughout the campaign.
