A Haunted Distraction	Main mission	Brief	While telling Takamura about what happened on Mount Oe, Musashi is visited by a slightly rattled Lady Murasaki, whose writing has been interrupted by a gang of noisy Genma. He makes his way to Yasaka Shrine to see what he can do.
An Immortal Talent	Main mission	Completion	Musashi meets Lady Murasaki, and learns that she means to continue collecting stories, even in the afterlife. She then tells him of a Genma at Nijo-jo Castle. Lacking a way into the sprawling fortress, he is told to enlist the help of Izumo no Okuni.
Ace Archer: Arashiyama	Side mission	Brief	A devotee of Lady Murasaki has had her poetic spirit dampened by some fiends flying over Arashiyama. Tasked with getting rid of them, Musashi heads to the scene.
A Wife's Prayer	Story side mission	Brief	An ailing man on Kiyomizu-zaka Slope is apparently treating his wife very badly indeed, despite her earnest efforts to pray for his recovery. Urged to look into the matter by Shizuka and Lady Murasaki, Musashi sets off to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to check in on the poor woman and hear her side of the story.
Worm-ly Ways	Story side mission	Brief	During a visit to Yasaka Koshin-do Temple, Musashi is invited to join a cult that worships a trio of creatures called the Three Worms. At Lady Murasaki's behest, Musashi heads off to check in on their all-night congregations, which are held at meeting halls marked by three flags.
