Lore
Shuten Doji's mountain stronghold
Mount Oe is a Kyoto mountain range associated with old demon stories. In Way of the Sword, a Genma has built a fortress there and threatens the capital.
Shuten Doji holds the fortress. The Demon on the Mount sends Musashi there after attacks on nearby villages; the Mysteries of Kyoto collection also recounts the older legend of Yorimitsu's raid.
