Musashi heads for Kennin-ji Temple, another key sanctuary that has been engulfed by the Malice. Arriving to find it in dire need of purification, he makes his way to its Dharma Hall, where it sounds like a challenge awaits.

| Completion | Musashi rids Kennin-ji Temple of the Genma menace before facing the fearsome brothers, Ifuu and Burai, in the Dharma Hall. He cuts the younger brother Ifuu down, and Burai retreats, vowing to get his revenge. And with that, the temple is cleared. |
