Absorbing Souls

The souls you absorb with your gauntlet will produce different effects depending on their color. The more you absorb at once, the greater their effect.

Manual and automatic soul collection

Method	What to do
Manual absorption	Hold L2 / LT on either PC controller preset, or C with the default keyboard bindings. The souls you absorb with your gauntlet will produce different effects depending on their color. The more you absorb at once, the greater their effect.
Oni Awakening	An Onimusha's ultimate form. It can be initiated when the Awakening Gauge is full, resulting in unlimited Blazing, automatic soul absorption, and easier Issen attacks, enabling you to truly tear up the battlefield.
