The Raid on Mount Oe: Spirited Away

Long ago, a spate of strange disappearances caused great fear among Kyoto's citizenry, for it was believed that the missing persons had been spirited away, a phenomenon known as "kami-kakushi." When divination revealed the culprit to be Shuten Doji and his Oni, the Imperial Court dispatched its most formidable warriors to Mount Oe to slay the offenders.
