Though Musashi triumphs, he is left with the nagging feeling that his victory was a hollow one...
Something in the Water	Story side mission	Completion	Upon investigating the cause of the noxious water at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Musashi discovers that Dokyo has in fact poisoned Otowa Waterfall, causing all who have drunk from it to turn into Genma. The Genma defeated, Musashi restores the water to its former purity.
Worm-ly Ways	Story side mission	Completion	It appears that Dokyo had infiltrated the Three Worms cult and exploited the faith of its members to convert them into Genma. Though Musashi manages to expose the deception, their most devout member remains unwavering in her belief.
