The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu
Musashi heads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple at Ono no Takamura's request. Apparently, it's one of the key sanctuaries that must be purified in order to strengthen the Oni Gate - and it's under attack by Genma.

After completion - story spoilers
| Completion | En route to Kiyomizu-dera, Musashi meets someone else with an Oni gauntlet: Ganryu. It seems he met a white-haired man in hell who set him to stealing souls. Upon purifying the temple, Musashi's own gauntlet produces a strange woman, of all things. |
